Happy July!
Well…I should start by saying Happy Independence Day and Happy Canada Day to my North American friends. To everyone else, I’m sorry…I don’t know when your countries celebrate your birthdays.
It is hard to believe that we are already in July. It seems that 2011 has been rocketing past at quite an alarming speed. It has been a busy time the last few months. I’ve seen my reports for sales on Better Late Than Never, and I can proudly saying that I am selling world wide. I have so far sold digital copies of my album on EVERY SINGLE CONTINENT (with the exception of Antarctica…stupid penguins). On top of that, I’ve been playing festivals, playing bars, and working on some material for my next album.
July looks to be a quieter month, gig wise, but there is still plenty to keep me busy. I’m looking to record some demos of songs that have been sent to me by a songwriter that wants to shop them around to various publishers, I’ve more music to write for a developing web series, and I have the 4th Annual Rideau Canal Festival in downtown Ottawa. The festival is something that I am particularly looking forward to as it gets me in front of some fairly large crowds.
So…that is my little summary of what is coming up for me and what I have been up to lately. Be sure to keep checking to find out about promotions and giveaways. I have been regularly giving away copies of my new single and both of my old albums.
Have a great July!
Chris
